Backdrop

I love this hanging flower backdrop so much!! Im in the process of re-creating it at home but it isnt turning out as perfect as this one. Backdrops are so great cos they can be used anywhere really, whether its behind the bride and groom, or as a background to a photobooth or hanging from a tree as an altar area for an outdoor ceremony. This backdrop is found at BHLDN for the whopping price of $1800.00 (hence why I have started making my own).

chalkboards

I love how creative couples can get with chalk paint. There are so many things you can do with it to create cute and personal touches to decorating the day. Chalk board paint can be bought at art stores and bunnings warehouse - super cheap! super cute!

hand painted shoes!

Figgie Shoes - so great! I always find that wedding shoes can really be a bit of a bold and fun part of the brides outfit since most of the time they are hidden under a full length dress! Isn't this the greatest idea: custom designed/painted patterns and pictures on the shoes which can be totally personal and memorable!

barn charm

I hate that Sydney is SO lacking of rustic wedding venues. In planning this wedding, I have so many ideas about theme, colours, decorations etc. but they all have to come from what the reception venue is. So i am still in search of a fab reception venue, fairly close to Epping (the church) with only 6 months to go!

For those who want a barn style wedding, rustic but beautiful... and that are planning a wedding for after June 26, 2012 (since the venue is booked out until then) then Belgenny Farm looks so beautiful!

photobooth

This photobooth - so funny! When looking through these photos at a cafe (with free wifi & coffee) on OneStylishBride i couldnt help but smile and chuckle to myself.

I love greenery. Whether it's just a lot of green stems to a bouquet or the floral decorations are just green, i think it really just adds a fresh and natural vibe to a wedding. Ive found a few different examples of greenery in different weddings which are just great!! Take a look:
